Get To Know Dr. Christopher Justema

Dr. Christopher Justema is a native of Grand Haven, Michigan. He attended Michigan State
University's Lyman Briggs College graduating with honors in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science
degree in Human Biology. While at MSU, he observed a dentist in East Lansing for over 120
hours and became very passionate about dentistry. It became clear that dentists do not just repair
teeth, they are able to improve their patient's oral health, their smiles, and in many cases their
self-esteem.
Dr. Justema went on to attend the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and graduated
at the top of his class with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2011. While in dental school, he
was involved with school organizations and participated in the Oral Cancer Walk, Give Kids a
Smile, and Special Olympics: Special Smiles.
Continuing education is a top priority for Dr. Justema in order to provide the best care for his
patients. He has hundreds of hours of continuing education in cosmetic dentistry, occlusion,
endodontics, implant restoration, and digital dentistry. Dr. Justema is an active member of the
American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and Pankey study club.
When not furthering his education or practicing dentistry, Dr. Justema enjoys playing guitar,
golfing, and spending time with his wife, Rosalee, and their two sons, Ethan and Landon. He
looks forward to practicing at Vienna Family Dentistry and serving the local community.
